Project Background:

Freeborn County and the City of Albert Lea are proposing to reconstruct Bridge Avenue (Freeborn County CSAH 22) between Marshall Street and Hammer Road. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2020. In addition to reconstructing the roadway, the project will include improvements to the underground utility system (water and sewer) and sidewalks along the corridor.

County and City staff, along with the consultant engineering team, have developed the final design of the road and utility improvements to address important community concerns.
